The perfect place to relax and unwind
Holidays should be relaxing and Oriana is the perfect place to relax with the beautiful Oasis Spa and salon. However, if you prefer to be a little more active whilst on holiday, you'll find a state of the art gym, sports courts and golf nets.

The Oriental Restaurant
Located at the stern of the ship on E Deck, The Oriental Restaurant is one of two main dining rooms on Oriana. Taking its name from the 'O' in P&O (Peninsular and Oriental Steam Company), this elegant and welcoming dining room is all about enjoying the friendly atmosphere and company of your table companions. Decorated in rich bronzes and golds, The Oriental Restaurant has an understated elegance and seats almost 500 people in stylish comfort. Huge ocean-view windows on three sides frame views of the ship's wake, while delicately crafted dishes are beautifully presented at your table. This is truly a world-class dining experience to be savoured in every sense.

Midships on Promenade Deck lies Harlequins - Oriana's largest nightspot. A pair of Harlequin figurines welcome you to this very glitzy and very modern dance venue. One of Oriana's most popular spots, Harlequins has an in-laid, wooden sprung floor, which offers a large open space that's great for ballroom dancing during the day. In the evenings, the floor area is reduced to a small intimate space for fantastic late night disco dancing action. The latest in lighting, coupled with superb high-tech sound equipment and the latest tunes, is a recipe for a fantastic evening experience!

Monte Carlo
Just forward of midships, on the starboard side of Promenade Deck, is the Monte Carlo Club Casino, Oriana's very own slice of cosmopolitan allure from the Riviera. The Monte Carlo Club is the perfect place for roulette, blackjack and poker, and there are experienced staff on hand to teach you how to play all the games. Stop by and try your luck!

Chaplins Cinema
Chaplin's Cinema is located aft of midships on D Deck, with its entrance on the port side just off the Art Gallery. This outstanding cinema offers excellent viewing from any of its 200 comfortable seats, and boasts an exceptional sound system. So sit back and enjoy the latest blockbusters or your favourite old classics, which are shown throughout the day and evening. Chaplin's is also used for lectures, port enhancement talks, and much more.

The Pacific Lounge
The Pacific Lounge, at the stern of the ship on Promenade Deck, is Oriana's entertainment centre. Soft comfortable furnishings and contemporary colours create a friendly and inviting feel in the Pacific Lounge, and a tiered floor offers excellent viewing from anywhere in the room. During the day you can attend craft classes and enjoy leisure pursuits here, and at night you can take in a hilarious comedy or a sophisticated cabaret. There's a full-service bar for liquid refreshment and a large wooden dance floor that comes alive at night.

Tiffany's Bar
Incorporating Tiffany's Bar in the forward section of D Deck, and wrapping around the top deck of the four-deck atrium, is Tiffany Court. It offers lovely views of the colourful Tiffany glass that crowns the atrium and overlooks Royal Court, Queen's Court and Garden Court on the decks below. The soft lighting and comfortable sofas and chairs create a very relaxing ambience, wonderful for meeting up with new friends or just enjoying a quiet drink.

Crichton's card room is located on the starboard side of D Deck, midships, next to the library and just aft of the Curzon Room. Named after former P&O director Sir Andrew Crichton, this quiet room is filled with card tables and is a great place to socialise over a friendly game of cards or your favourite board games. You will also find bridge tournaments here, as well as our competitive evening syndicate quizzes.

Activities from deck quoits and shuffleboard, to deck tennis are bound to keep you on the move. And if you simply need some time out, then Oriana's jacuzzis and spa facilities are certain to soothe away all your cares. You'll find The Oasis Spa and salon offers the chance to spoil yourself with a treatment, a new haircut or a makeover.

So you might just discover a new you.

Places to unwind

Thackeray Room
The Thackeray Room is located midships on D Deck, between the Library and the Art Gallery, just forward of Chaplin's Cinema. This quiet writing room is perfect for writing postcards or reading a good book. Decorated in a classic green palate and rich wood highlights, The Thackeray Room is furnished with soft comfortable chairs, as well as lamps, tables, chairs and a grandfather clock, all designed by Viscount Linley. This room was named in honour of the great Victorian writer, William Makepeace Thackeray, author of 'Vanity Fair', and one of P&O's first cruise passengers back in 1844.

At the forward end of Lido Deck, on the starboard side of the Oasis Spa, is Oriana's gym. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer amazing views while you exercise on the large range of the cardiovascular and resistance equipment. You'll also find free weights and an exercise studio, where you can participate in aerobics, circuit training, yoga and more. Experienced personal trainers and nutritional experts are there to assist you with your fitness programme and will check that you are exercising safely and effectively. And when your workout is finished, it's only a few steps to a relaxing massage or soothing sauna in the Oasis Spa.
